About Our Organic Espresso Mexico from Chiapas
Our coffee is expertly roasted using premium 100% Arabica beans known for their perfectly balanced flavor profile. These exceptional Arabica beans are sourced from the renowned Veracruz region of Mexico, celebrated for its ideal climate conditions that nurture some of the world’s finest coffee crops.
Veracruz benefits from a unique combination of warmth, humidity, and nutrient-rich soil, creating perfect growing conditions that result in superior coffee quality. Although Mexico accounts for just 2% of global coffee production, it ranks as the 12th largest coffee exporter worldwide.
Coffee was introduced to Mexico by Spanish settlers in the 1700s. While the country was once a leading coffee producer, challenges such as leaf rust disease caused its ranking to drop. Today, Mexico holds the 12th position globally but stands out as a major player in certified sustainable and organic coffee production. The nation is home to numerous small family-owned farms that supply exceptional coffee to local cooperatives, ensuring fair trade and excellent quality for every bean.
